• Plant lettuce, spinach, kale and other cool season crops to harvest until frost

The cooler temperatures of Autumn bring pleasant days and easier sleeping at night. Time to snuggle under the covers and light candles and fire up your pellet stove.

Just in time for fall, we have expanded our line of Root candles (simply the best candles you can buy) and have a large supply of wood pellets and fire pits and heaters for staying out late in the evening.

Cooler temperatures also bring the red, yellow and orange display that many plants put on before their leaves drop to the ground.

Blueberries have exceptional fall color as well as tasty fruit for much of the summer. We suggest planting at least three different varieties for better pollination and to prolong the months of harvest. Heathers and Enkianthus are other fabulous fall plants.
